Nigel Hemming is a master painter of dogs - particularly working dogs – and his name has become synonymous with 21st century narrative dog-themed painting.  The relationships between man and dog as well as those between dogs themselves inspire his work.  His keen observation of canine behavioural traits have won him a keen following and he has been widely published in limited editions since the 1980s and his work is collected across the world.  More recently Nigel has created pictures in a pared down contemporary style.  His ‘Larger than Life’ series has proved immensely popular and has opened up his work to a new generation of collectors.  Nigel is available to undertake private commissions.  Please contact us for further details.
